I think the colored contacts are what sell it for me. I am incredibly impressed by your use of linework, especially since this is the type of work where if you mess up even just a little bit, you have to essentially start over. Is that correct? I know from doing faceups on my dolls that really intricate lines like this take a lot of careful planning, and at least some conception of the finished product. Wing it, and you will mess up. Again, and again, and again.

I rated you less than five stars on originality because although the linework is beautiful and the color scheme is dramatic, it is not an unexpected combination. Please don't be offended. I do think that a lot of successful - even truly great - art takes familiar elements and puts them together in ways that are exciting, even if they are not necessarily "original." So, I'm not hung up on originality. I loves me some archetypes, and you did a good job tapping into them!
